We are officially donating all unused creative materials from the Temple of Creativity to local inner city schools after A Midsummer’s Dream.
We are happy to announce that we have been working closely with Crayola on this, and it is very near and dear to our hearts. Our commitment to giving back to the community is growing larger and stronger and as we continue to grow and expand, so does our service. Creativity and imagination are essential components to a child’s (and adults) development, and we want to make sure that all children in our community are off to a great start. For them to be the person they were meant to be, and also to give back to the people who love and support us so much.
The Temple of Creativity began in 2014, with a vision to create a space for others to express themselves creatively at the festival. We know that creativity can benefit consciousness in a number of different ways:
- Better Problem Solver
- Connecting With Community
- Self Awareness and Expression
- Personal Freedom
- Stress Relief
So, we are happy to announce that we are donating materials from The Temple Of Creativty to Adelaide Hoodless and Cathy Wever Schools this September.
With the help of Crayola, we will be donating the following items:
- Construction Paper
- Colouring Books
The mission of A Midsummer’s Dream has always been to be a massive force for good, to create a potent vibration and inspiration for others to feel and share. We follow the idea that inclusion, working together, giving, listening and hard work are fundamental for any type of change or community work that one undertakes.
We can’t thank our #dreamingtribe enough for all the love and support you have given us over the years. As we grow, we are really excited to give back even more to the community. This is the start of even better things to come.
